This attractive Victorian carrstone cottage is just a short walk from the long sandy beach at Holme and situated near the end of the ancient Pedders Way footpath. The cottage is located within an area of outstanding natural beauty which embraces the North Norfolk heritage coast and its hinterland. It is a haven for wildlife, attracting bird watchers from all over the country to nature and bird reserves amid the tranquillity of the picturesque dunes and marshes. Holme Dunes Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the Norfolk Ornithological reserve is just a short walk from the cottage. The cottage also looks onto Hunstanton Golf Course, one of a number of excellent courses to be found in the area. The village of Holme provides a marvellous base for exploring the beaches and byways of Norfolk. Royal Sandringham, stately Holkham Hall, Burnham Market, Wells with its harbour and railway and Hunstanton with its entertainments are all within easy reach by car. In addition to its natural attractions, the village also has a pub. The nearest shop is just less than two miles away in Old Hunstanton. Public transport is poor so a car is advisable.
