Directions to Beach Cottage: Take the A149 from Kings Lynn to Hunstanton. Continue on the A149 through Hunstanton past Smithdon High School, go through Old Hunstanton where the road turns sharply right, over a hump-back bridge until you see a left turn and signposts that direct you to the beach, NNT reserve and NOA observatory; there is also a wooden peddars way footpath sign. Follow the road, at the village pond ignoring the signpost to the village go on over a narrow bridge where the road bends and continue until you see a house (Beach House) at rightangles to the road on your left and a field on your right. There is a right hand turning which you do not take but watch for two green gates on your left; this is the entrance to the courtyard where you will find Beach Cottage. If you miss the turning you will shortly find yourself in the middle of the golf course. |
